Refugio Cochamó (bed & breakfast)
From the Refugio Cochamó´s centric location you have excellent views of the surrounding valley - granite walls, waterfalls, rivers and amazing forest - making it an ideal base for hiking, climbing, beach day, fishing and other excursions.
Located at the center of the valley just across from where La Junta River meets the Cochamó River, the newly built refugio is run by its owners Daniel, Silvina, Zen and friends, all nature lovers.

Accomodation in Cochamó town
Hostal Maura offers the best accomodations and home-cooked meals in town. The family-run hostal has comfortable rooms and a cozy living room to watch movies, read or hang out during rest or bad-weather days. They charge $10,000 pesos chilenos per person with breakfast included.
It's located next to the dock just past the towns landmark cathedral. To get there, turn off the main road and go down hill on Avenida Catedra, pass the church and turn right. The hostal is just half a block ahead on the right.

Hospedaje Edicar offers the cheapest and cleanest place to stay in town. At $8,000 pesos (US$15) per night, the owner-run hospedaje offers private rooms, shared bath, living room with fire-place and breakfast.
To get to the hospedaje, go down Avenida Catedral passing the old church. Turn right at the end of the street and continue one block. The hospedaje is located at the corner on the second floor, above the Supermercado Rosita (same owners). If the store is closed, ring the door bell on the door to the right of the main entrance.
