Camping La Junta and other nearby areas

In the valley you can camp near the old refugio along a grassy stretch of open pampa next to the Cochamó River, also known as the La Junta camping area. The cost is $2,000 pesos (~US$4) pesos chilenos per person. It is the most convenient and beautiful place centered within the walls, waterfalls and hiking trails. • running water
  • large sink for washing dishes
  • beautiful campsites on open meadow next to the river
