This does NOT confirm any horse reservation, and you must follow up with them in order to arrange the logistics for your horse needs.

    Important to know

  • Access. The only access to the Refugio Cochamó is via a 4-to-6 hour hiking or horseback riding trail. Because of its isolation, you can NOT drive nor ride a bike into the valley.
  • Months of operation. The Refugio Cochamó is open October 27, 2011 to mid May 6, 2012. Camping La Junta maintains the same schedule.
  • Confirming your reservation. A confirmation must be received by e-mail before securing a reservation. For camping, no reservations are necessary.
